How long do
permanent cosmetics take to heal?

It takes about 10 days for healing. In that time any redness will fade and the initial darkness of the eyebrows will begin to lighten. The color will lighten over about thirty days as it completely sets in.

Why is it necessary to do a touchup?

Microblading is a two-step process. The first procedure will take about two hours and consists of brow shaping, color choice and deciding which brow look is best for you. Once we agree on a shape and color, the treatment is carried out using a manual hand tool where the semi permanent pigment is placed into the skin. The touch up is the second part of the process and it usually takes place 6-8 weeks after initial procedure. This takes approximately one hour. During this visit we reapply pigment and strokes where the color has faded. During your healing process color will fade significantly since the skin heals over the strokes and on some occasions can peel. This touch up is required is you wish to maintain your brows, without it we cannot guarantee the results.

Can the touch-up be done is less than 4 weeks?

This is not recommended because the healing needs to be completed before the final results are seen. Final adjustments should only be done after the initial work has stabilized.
